The bed was incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. I was delighted to find that the hotel had free WiFi, making it easy for me to stay connected. The 24-hour front desk staff were so welcoming and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was ideal, with great shopping opportunities just a short walk away. The room was equipped with a flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.
Language barrier with staff.

My room at Apa Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan was surprisingly spacious, allowing plenty of room for all my luggage. The location of the hotel was very convenient, situated right in the center of Tenmonkan, a bustling area for shopping and dining. I enjoyed the quick and hassle-free check-in and check-out process, and the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. The large TV in the room even had the BBC channel available. The bathroom was immaculate and well-maintained. I found the staff to be helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel was also conveniently located within walking distance to the airport limousine and public transport, as well as the seaport for easy access to nearby islands. Despite its location in a lively area, I was able to block out any noise with the help of earplugs. I would recommend Apa Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan for its spacious rooms, central location, and helpful staff.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel. The lobby was adorned with beautiful traditional Japanese artwork, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were well-lit and had comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing and people-watching. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible with ramps and elevators, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane.
I would have loved for there to be more organized activities or tours specifically designed for senior people. It would have been nice to have some options that catered to our interests and abilities.

Great location in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Spacious single room with ample space to move around.
The lack of coffee in the rooms, only green tea was provided. The building seemed quite old, and some areas could use improvement in terms of cleanliness.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly. The location was great as it was in the midst of the bustling nightlife and near shopping and eating areas. Plus, it was just a short walk from the transportation hub, making it easy to get around.
My xmas stay was ruined by the constant smell of cigarette smoke, which made it hard to breathe. , the room was cramped due to unnecessary items like a phone and kettle.

I stayed at a hotel over Easter. The weather was great but the hotel not so much. Despite it being in a key location, close to shops and restaurants, there wasn't much else to like. However, the Wi-Fi reception was good and reliable. the room was a decent size, which allowed me to stretch out and relax without feeling cramped or too confined.
My experience at this hotel was less than satisfactory. The staff wasn't very helpful, and there weren't many surfaces or storage areas in the room.

Very quick check-in/check-out, comfortable bed, large TV with BBC available, immaculate bathroom, right in the center of Tenmonkan.
Not one thing.

We stayed at a hotel located right in front of the Shopping Street, which was great for access to shops and restaurants. The staff was helpful and the room was clean, but it was very small and had an outdated decor. The breakfast was basic but adequate, with a limited choice of food. However, the biggest downside was the lack of public bath facility, which is a common amenity in Japan.
The hotel did not provide any public bath facility, which was a disappointment.

The hotel was impeccably clean, with laundry facilities available. I loved the central location, as it was right at the shopping street and transportation was very close. It was easy to find shops, bars, and restaurants nearby and everything I wanted to see was within walking distance--couldn't ask for more! Additionally, the staff members were polite and friendly, and the breakfast was very good.
Nothing not too like.

The value for my money was great at Apa Hotel Tenmonkan! The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a fridge and a bathtub. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the nightlife and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast menu could use some improvement by offering more variety or options.
